Ingredients:
I pack Moo Shu skin/wrapper(10 pieces)
I small bottle Hoisin sauce
I small bottle Vietnamese chili sauce *OPTIONAL*
1/2 head iceberg lettuce ( wash and shredder)
2 cups shredder
braised-chicken-with-cinnamon-and-star
Method:
1 Use a damp paper towel cover over moo shu skin/wrapper to prevent from drying out while microwave.Microwave for 20 second for each pieces. If you have a steamer, then use steamer .
2: Reheat leftover chicken for 2 minutes each cup.Lay Moo Shu skin on a clean plate or cutting board, then spread hoisin sauce and chili sauce into the round wrapper.
3:Dish 2 tbsp shredder lettuce and 1-2 tbsp chicken in the middle of the wrapper with oblong shape.Do not over fill lettuce of chicken,if not when wrapping the skin will break off. Flip both left and right side of the wrapper about 2 inch toward the center, then firmly roll up from the end nearest you, taking care not to squeeze out the contents.
4: Serve as an appetizer or snack.
shredder iceberg lettuce
shredder braised chicken
warm moo shu wrap with hoisin sauce
then spread the sauce evenly all over in the center, add chili sauce *optional*
arrange shredder lettuce in the middle in oblong shape
and shredder chicken on top on the lettuce
roll up and serve
and I called it Moo SHU CHICKEN!!
Note:
if you don't have Moo Shu wrapper, sub with taco /burrito wrapper ,slightly thicker but it's ok..

I don't mind having this kind of leftovers at all. It look great. I notice the people back home never like leftovers food. Just like my family. They will normally just throw it away.
ReplyDeleteGert,
ReplyDeletewhy ppls in Msia refused to eat leftover eh? my mom also said if can't finish have to throw away..aiyooo...
As for my family they can buy nice cheap food outside why do they need to eat leftovers. Not like us we can't do that. Leftovers for us means less cooking :)
