10 large shrimp (clean, deviened and slice half)
3 fresh clove garlic (peel and chopped)
1 medium carrot(peel and sliced)
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder
2 tbsp oil

1: Cut and wash asparagus in a medium bowl, microwave at high at 2 minutes.

2:Heat skillet or wok at medium high heat with oil and garlic, fry garlic until fragrant or lightly brown ,then add in clean shrimp and carrot together.

3:Quick fry for 30 seconds or until the shrimp curl, then add in asparagus, chicken bouillon powder and oyster sauce. Give a quick toss or use your spatula to stir well for less than 30 seconds ,check the seasoning ,dish out and serve warm.

Hi Beachlover, I like browsing your food sites. I run a dinner catering service at home as per close friends' request. I always visit your sites to get ideas. Thank you very much for sharing your recipes. BTW, I've read your diary too, your daughter, Mishu, is so cute, so reminds me of my son when he was at her age....enjoy her, they grow up fast..:-)

Hello, Beachlover, My son turned 15 last month. I used to work full time when he was a baby, that's why I missed his baby days. Is Mishu your daughter's real name? It's a beautiful name. Are you from Malaysia too? Both my Hubby and I are from Petaling Jaya. Very happy to meet you at the Blog...your blogs are always interesting.

I love the colours of this dish!

Recently I learnt that we should try to have 5 colours in our vegies dishes. That'd ensure we are consuming 5 types of phytonutrients. So I am trying to make my vegie dishes as colourful as possible!
