Cheese SPAM? That is one creative fried rice!
ReplyDeleteI love spicy fried rice too. With spam, even better!
ReplyDeleteI'm also a typical Asian, and must have my rice. I feel uneasy if I don't eat rice for 2 days straight! I like spicy fried rice & SPAM is delicious. I've been buying SPAM ever since the story of tainted food product from China became 'hot news'. But SPAM is not cheap at all here. In Msia it's worse! I saw it at Isetan, Lot 10 for rm19.90 for 1 can! Crazy!
ReplyDeleteThis is creative and easy to cook. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more about Asians and rice! I love my rice and rice noodles. Cheesy spam? That's a new one! It looks great in the fried rice.
ReplyDeleteI love SPAM in my fried rice too. Like Elliot, my hubby asked the same question. But he ate the fried rice anyhow coz I made it spicy with lots of chilies. I love chilies in everything i eat.
ReplyDeleteI am Asian but then I'm not a big fan of rice. I love noodles more but ever since I moved here I will crave for eat rice at least once every week or so. My hubs don't like SPAM because he said all the rubbish meat is in it but I still cook with it and he still eats it though. I love lots of chillies too!!The more the better!!that's typical Asian I think..LOL

Spam is my favorite thing to put in fried rice! This looks fantastic. I especially like that you made it spicy. Yum.
ReplyDeleteI second this necessity of needing rice or noodles daily.Although I have never heard of cheese spam, this looks good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Beautiful dish. I have spam and would love to try your dish. The chili will kick up a notch. What is Crispy Prawn Chili? Mind posting a picture? Thanks.
