hi..greetings from ipoh... i never cook this before...but i think my kids will like it cos they love potatoes...
Your potato cutlets look so crunchy on outside and soft in the middle. Just perfect!
never cook this before, must try one day, look so yummy!
Oh, y'know what!! I made some begedel ikan of Indonesian origin! Just haven't gotten around to blog about it though ... And I never knew "begedel" is spelled "begedil." LOL!

I had this before. Very yummy and healthy.
I like making this on my lazy days and we eat it like a meal with so sirachi. Carlos love this but I always add some can tuna to it. I don't think he want it with udang kering. I too remember eating this from the nasi campur stall or mee soto but I think they sometime add chicken liver to it, right?
Never knew the Malay name for it but I love to eat it. Your version looks yummy =)
Whenever I visit those Malay rice stalls, this is one item that I will usually order. Miss those days. Can't even get a decent Chinese rice stall in CA, where to get a Malay one?

I guess it's doesn't matter either it's begedil or begedel spelling.I think for 50's ppls their Malay usually used "E" instead of "i".hope to see your posting soon!
