  • 1/2 lb. pad thai noodles
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts


  • Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the noodles and soy sauce and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the sugar, egg, green onions, and peanuts and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.
